I'm a professional photographer in the Washington DC area that has over 15 years of experience. I used to shoot all genres, weddings, maternity, newborns, family, etc.
However, I fell in love with boudoir photography and the empowering feeling it gives every day women. Now, I focus solely on boudoir photography so that I can help women just like you feel confident in their every day lives.

WARDROBE CONSULTATION
We will connect before your shoot to discuss your wardrobe and any specialty pieces/shots you may want. I will answer any questions you have and make sure that you feel ready and excited for your session.

HAIR & MAKEUP STYLING
What is a self-care day, without having someone else do your hair and makeup? Just come to the studio with your hair washed and dried and our on-site hair and makeup artist will take care of the rest.

POSING GUIDANCE
Staging the photos and helping clients pose is Keyla’s mastercraft. Don’t worry about figuring out how to pose ‘sexy’ Keyla will direct you on everything you need to do in order to create stunning images that will be magazine-cover ready.

PHOTO REVEAL

WHAT TO WEAR
Do I Have To Wear Lingerie?
Boudoir is the French word for bedroom, so boudoir photography typically includes what women wear in their private bedrooms, and honestly I love to photograph women in lingerie, the images are incredible and it is very empowering for the client.
That being said, this photo session is about YOU and making sure that you feel safe, comfortable, and enjoy yourself.
Your session you can be:

Meet Keyla
I have been a professional photographer for more than 15 years., shooting family portraits, weddings, quinceñeras and everything in-between, but I have found my passion in boudoir photography., or to be more precise, I found my passion in using my camera to help women boost their confidence and see themselves for the beautiful and powerful women that they are!
Being a boudoir photographer combines two of my favorite things: photography & helping other women. I know how life-altering a boudoir session can be, because I experienced it myself at a low point in my own life.
I had my first boudoir session after my 3rd baby was born. My body had completely changed, I didn't feel like myself and I despised what I saw in the mirror. After my boudoir session, my whole outlook changed. Coming home after the shoot I felt feminine, sensual, and attractive for the first time in months. When I saw my pictures, they reinforced those feelings and I started to feel and act different. That photo session gave me hope and put me on a path to loving and appreciating me for who I am.
Many people think that a boudoir session is about creating a sexy gift to share with a partner, and it can be (my husband LOVES the photos)... but I will tell you, this boudoir session and the photos will do so much more for YOU than anyone else. So, regardless of your age, your size, or relationship status; a boudoir session is for you. I can't wait to meet you and discuss how a boudoir shoot can change your life.

I WANT TO BOOK A SHOOT, BUT I’M NOT SURE I’M READY.This is the question that we get most often. Boudoir photo sessions are for EVERY woman and the best time to do something to improve your self-confidence is now. You don’t need 6 months of a crazy diet and personal training sessions to be ready. In fact, many clients use their boudoir photoshoot as the self-esteem boost to start on lifestyle change. Everyone's a little nervous for their boudoir shoot, it's completely normal. We will make sure you feel comfortable and you will be the star of the show. You'll have a great time and when you see yourself in your pictures, it will all be worth it!

WHO WILL BE AT MY BOUDOIR PHOTO SESSION?We'll do everything necessary to relax and enjoy your boudoir photoshoot. During your shoot you will be assisted and photographed by our all-female boudoir photography team including the hair & make-up artist, the photographer and her assistants. Many clients want to bring a friend/family member for support & company. If that is the case, let us know during your consultation and we can make that work.

WHERE WILL MY BOUDOIR SESSION TAKE PLACE?The majority of our sessions take place in our home studio where we have multiple sets to choose from. Some of our clients have chosen to shoot in a specific location (favorite hotel or AirBnB.) If that is the case, please let us know during the consultation. We also travel for boudoir sessions and if that interests you, we would love to discuss with you!

DO I HAVE TO DO MY OWN HAIR AND MAKEUP?No, we have incredible hair and makeup artists that will take care of you here at the studio and will have you looking gorgeous & glamorous for your shoot. (Besides, what kind of self-care day includes you doing your own hair and make-up??) *Hair and makeup are included in the photo retainer fee.

I AM NOT GREAT AT POSING, AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO POSE ‘SEXY.’ HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT TO DO?A stunning boudoir or glamour photo doesn’t happen by accident, not for world-renowned magazines and not for any photo studio. A great image has to be composed and directed by the photographer. Composition and posing are a passion of mine. I have more than a decade of experience studying and working on photo composition and posing. During your session, I will direct you on where to sit, where to look, where to place your hands, etc… just follow my directions and you will be amazed at the results.

I AM EXCITED ABOUT DOING THIS, BUT I AM JUST DOING THIS FOR ME. WILL MY IMAGES BE SHARED?Your images will be kept confidential. I only share or post images if a client gives their consent. (But I will tell you, you will be so happy with how you look that you may want to show everyone😉)
